Dominick J. Carolei, affectionately known as "Donnie" to his family and friends, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 72. Donnie was a man of distinctive style and a profound love for vibrant colors, especially the color purple. His eye-catching pairs of shoes reflected his unique taste and personality.

Donnie was widely recognized for his charismatic, caring, and thoughtful nature. He touched the lives of those around him with his warmth and genuine concern for others.

A dedicated martial artist, Donnie found joy in practicing karate. His commitment and skill were evident in his achievement of a Seventh Dan rank in karate. He honed his craft under the guidance of grandmasters Peter Urban and Tommy Pitera, leaving a legacy in the martial arts community.

Donnie was the founder of Iron Tigers USA Goju Karate, an institution that reflected his passion for martial arts. Through this, he inspired others to embrace discipline, perseverance, and a love for the art.

Reposing on Sunday, January 21, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, located at 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York. This gathering provides an opportunity to celebrate the life of a man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
