Obituary of Helen Chan Uy

Helen Chan Uy, 66, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. Ms. Uy was born April 30, 1957 in the Philippines. She is the daughter of the late Alejandro and Lapaz (Teng) Chan.

She was a devoted ICU Registered Nurse.

Ms. Uy is survived by her mother Lapaz Chan and son, Ferdinand Uy.

She is the beloved sister of Shirley Lopez, Jackie Chua, Carol Aldiano, Rocky Chan, Hazel Chan, Ann Chan, the late Anthony Chan and Kristine Chan.

Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Ms. Uy's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 6 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:15 AM on Thursday, December 7 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

A service at Green-Wood Crematory chapel to immediately follow.
