Obituary of Thomas J. Nelson

Thomas J. Nelson passed away on November 15, 2023. He was 72 years old. Thomas was welcomed into Heaven by his beloved wife the late Frances A. Nelson. He was the loving father of Thomas Nelson, Lauren Dolcemascolo, Kaitlyn Nelson, and the late Christopher Nelson. Thomas was the cherished grandfather of Christian, Thomas (TJ), Santino, Dean, and Nico. He was the dear brother of Charles Nelson. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The visitation for Thomas J. Nelson will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 9:30 AM - the family will be gathering at the funeral home by 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island.
