I was blessed to grow up in a close knit family where cousins lived as extended brothers and sisters. In that family my cousin Judy was a pillar of quiet strength and love. She had an unmatched concern for everyone around her and always wanted to know that you were alright. Hers was a life well lived as she touched so many with her spirit of concern and unfiltered love. To say she will be missed is an understatement. The world is just a little bit different now that she has danced and joined the ancestors. Fortunately the love she shared lives in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Much love cousin!

I had the pleasure of knowing Judy over 40 years,. beginning when I started work at St. Vincent's Services, She was the only other Social Worker in the Foster Care Unit which made it necessary to become good co- workers, which developed into good friends which lasted until her sudden death. Judy was very intelligent, strong caring person who was proud of and loved her family very much. May the Lord comfort you and grant you his peace. She will be missed by so many people. Brook, Cheryl, and family I am sending prayers of comfort & healing to you all. Janice "Jan" was my sister/friend for over 40 years. We were born in the same year less than a month apart (Jan was older). We met as adults employed as mental health social workers in Kings County Hospital, later to work in many mental health settings as colleagues and friends. Jan was a sister/friend in good times and times that I felt would overpower me. Jan hung "tough," advising, supporting, laughing, and crying with me and my family. I had the privilege, like many other people, to benefit from Jan's devotion to make this world a better place for each one of God's Children. I salute you sister/friend, Jan, as you walk in eternal rest with our risen savior, Jesus Christ.
