Obituary of Francis Ralph Marino

Francis Marino, Jr., of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on October 15, 2020 at Coney Island Hospital. 

The son of Francis and Marion Marino, Francis Jr. proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a tireless and selfless volunteer for the American Red Cross during times of crisis. Francis was a man of spiritual faith and love. He enjoyed spending time with his family and longtime childhood friends. He loved bringing everyone together at the table with his food, laughs and stories.  

Francis is survived by his children; Francis (Jakki) and Eleonore (Jimmy,) and his beloved grandchildren; Alina, Francis, James and Natalie. 

He leaves behind five siblings; Edward, Bernadette, Thomas, Jamie and Michael. 

Francis is predeceased by his loving wife, Joan. 

Francis will be cremated at Green-Wood Cemetery on October 19, 2020. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Date and time to be deteremined. 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Francis' soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
