Obituary of Edward Stackpole

Edward Stackpole a lifelong resident of Brooklyn passed away on Sunday December 1, 2019 at home in Brooklyn. Edward was 89 years old. Edward was born on September 8, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY and is the son of the late Robert and the late Ella (Mohen) Stackpole.  Edward married the love of his life the late Joan Titus Stackpole. They were married until Joan passed away in 2000. Edward served proudly in the Army. Edward was employed by NY Times as a Pressman.  Edward is survived by his beloved children Edward (Pat) Stackpole, the late Captain Timmy (Tara) Stackpole, Kathleen (Kevin) Buell, Michael (Lynn) Stackpole and Patricia (Joe) Murphy; his cherished grandchildren Melissa, Eddie, Meghan, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Brian, Brendan, Terrence, Kelly, Kevin, Matthew, Colleen, Michael, Ashley, Corinne, Timothy, Reagan and Erin and 10 treasured great grandchildren. 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:45 AM on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.
