Obituary of Joseph H. Policella

A loving husband and father. A family man before all else. An avid bike rider, golfer, tennis player and reader. An intellectual. Funny, quirky, eccentric, creative. He loved to eat! He was green before green was in. He was forward thinking for his time. He believed in equal opportunity for all. He was an excellent partner which included doing the dishes, changing and bathing the babies, and splitting the housework with his wife. He enjoyed politics. He never pulled his punches. He had extraordinary self-discipline. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. And we loved him. Joseph is survived by his wife, Viola, and his children, Paul Policella and his wife Marsha Loeb and their children, Zachary and Joshua Policella; Catherine Policella; Carolyn Cedar and her husband Mark and their son, Jacob; Ruth Policella and her husband Sean Partridge and their daughter, Viola; and Anne Marie Policella and fiance Peter Ferguson.
