Edward Mandart

Obituary of Edward F. Mandart

After a long battle, God has called Ed home to be at peace. Ed was a devoted husband to Arlene (nee Slagle) for 61 years. He was very proud of, and loved his children, their spouses, and especially his grandchildren very much. His only daughter Jeanine Paternostro (Joe) came first. Then it was Paul (Alisa – Paul Gregory and Christopher), Douglas (Karen – Douglas Clayton), and Keith (Donna – Jaclyn, Annie, and James). They all brought incredible joy. Ed was very proud of his service to his country. He served four years in the 5th Air Force, three of which were part of the occupational forces stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Ed was also an avid volunteer with Arlene, specializing in fundraising activities. His goodness and kindness will be greatly missed.
