Obituary of Robert H. French
Robert H. French, age 74, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Born on May 9, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Oliver and Joan (Hannigan) French. Beloved brother of Lorraine “Randy” J. Costa, James L. French, Teresa M. French, Mary Anne G. Doherty, Patricia R. Boyle, and Nancy E. Mitchell. Robert was a devoted uncle to 15 nieces and nephews and a loving great uncle to 16, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A truly kind soul, Robert touched the lives of all who knew him. He was always there with a helping hand, a listening ear, and a warm presence. He also had a hilarious personality and a wonderful sense of humor, often bringing laughter to those around him and brightening even the hardest days. His love for his family was unwavering, and nothing brought him more joy than being there for his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his generosity, his quick wit, and the deep care he showed to everyone around him.

Reposing on Wednesday, April 8 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 9 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.
Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island.
