Obituary of Agnes Ford

Agnes Ford, born January 16, 1948, passed away on March 27, 2026.

Agnes was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. She lived in sheepshead bay most of her life. 

Agnes lived a wonderful life. Graduated Brooklyn College in 1971. Was very active in the Alumni Association. Serving 2 terms as President, 1 as treasurer. She attended St Marks and was a member of the Rosary Society and Friendship club. As well as being a Columbienette of the Barran DeKalb. 

She was known for her warmth, resilience, and kind heart. Agnes touched the lives of many through her generosity and compassion, always offering a listening ear and steady support to those around her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and will be remembered for the comfort and love she brought to family and friends.

Agnes was survived by her son James (Elaina), sisters Grace & Christina, brother William and brother in law Elliot and many nieces and nephews. 

Agnes was proceeded in death by her parents Edward & Anna; siblings John, Catherine, Joseph and Eleanor. 

 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 30, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 31, at St. Mark’s R.C. Church, 2609 E 19th St, Brooklyn, NY 11235. Private committal to follow.

Agnes will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
