Obituary of Leonard Michael DiLorenzo
Leonard (Lenny) DiLorenzo was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 21, 1971. Lenny was the son of Richard DiLorenzo and Maria (Cookie Lodespoto) DiLorenzo. Lenny is survived by his wife Paula, son Lenny Jr.,and brother Jason.
Lenny, as a young boy, was a Boy Scout. As a teenager he was a local DJ. He loved all genres of music, but freestyle was his favorite.
Lenny loved to fish and garden (especially tomatoes and basil). Lenny was a fantastic cook and enjoyed watching the cooking channel and old westerns. He was a big Giants and Mets fan as well as an animal lover. He often could be found sitting outside on the deck feeding the birds.
Above all, Lenny was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved his family and all the family traditions especially Christmas Eve, singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" while wearing silly Christmas hats.
Lenny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
