Obituary of Ann Fitzgerald

Ann M. Fitzgerald passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 9, 2025. She was born in Forest Hills, NY to the late Raymond and Marcella (nee White) McCourt. Ann was later married to her beloved husband, Matt Fitzgerald, who she met in Breezy Point, for 63 years before his passing in March 2017. Matt and Ann enjoyed life together residing in Forest Hills for 60 years before moving to Breezy Point full time in 2014. In Forest Hills, Ann was a devoted Mother and homemaker for her 5 children, and was very active in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, where she participated in many charitable events and organizations. Ann also hosted almost all family holiday events, working tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. As busy as she was, Ann always made time to connect with friends for lunch or coffee on Tuesday afternoons.

Reposing on Sunday December 14, 2025, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday December 15, 2025, St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd. Breezy Point.

Committal service will immediately follow to St. John's Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue Middle Village, NY 11379.
