Obituary of Gladys Dineen Martinez

Gladys Socorro Dineen Martinez, age 82, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025. Mrs. Martinez was born November 10, 1942 in Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of the late Jose and the late Mariana (Colon) Cruz.

She is predeceased by her late husband John Patrick Dineen.

She is the devoted mother of Edison Martinez, Gladys Martinez (Nathaniel,) the late Richard Dineen, John Patrick Dineen, Daniel Dineen (Dawn) and James Dineen (Suzanne.)

Grandmother of Eddie, Dawn, Nicole, Kia, Clay, Meagan and Sean.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 18 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Cremation to follow on Wednesday, March 19 at 11 AM at Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn.
